Come let us walk on the Path of Jesus Christ!

Come let us walk on the Path of Jesus Christ!

One day, Jesus was praying at the garden of Gethsemane. That moment, a group of people surrounded him to have him arrested. You know there were twelve disciples with Jesus, don’t you? Do you know what Peter, one of the twelve disciples did? He cut off an ear from one of the men who surrounded Jesus. You know Peter was always like an over enthusiastic person. That was his character.

Jesus looked at Peter and said, “We should not act like that, Peter.” He not only taught him to never do bad things to others but exhibited them through his actions. He picked up the man’s ear, attached it in its place, and healed him. He did good even to those who did bad to Him. Even Paul in Romans says, one must despise evil and embrace goodness. Jesus Christ has showcased this to us through his actions. He has done good amidst evil.

Through many incidents and miracles in the Bible, we see that in the time that Jesus Christ lived in this world, He only did good things, like miracles. He is of purer eyes than to behold evil, as stated in Habakkuk 1.13.

Children, you too should despise evil. Sometimes bad things might bring you happiness. It might give you joy but will end up bad for you. So, hate evil things and learn good from Jesus. Learn to walk in the path shown by Jesus.
